CONSCIOUSLY CRAFTED - MADE TO LAST

MUKA Jewellery is an independent jewellery brand, built around a love of thoughtful design, slow making, and creating pieces that feel personal to the wearer.

The brand was created in 2015 by Claire who designs and creates each piece by hand in her Glasgow studio. Everything is carefully handcrafted using traditional metalsmithing techniques, allowing time and attention to be given to every stage of the process. Nothing is rushed, from the first idea to the final polish, every detail is considered so that what you wear feels special, comfortable, and made to last.

At the heart of MUKA is a commitment to more conscious making. Working exclusively in recycled silver and gold - giving new life to precious metals while reducing the need for new mining. These materials offer the same quality, durability, and beauty as newly sourced metals, but with a lighter environmental impact.

Where possible, processes are low-waste and non toxic. Offcuts of silver and gold are saved and reused, pieces are made in small batches to avoid overproduction and environmentally friendly chemicals are used in the making process. This slower, more considered approach not only reduces waste but also means each design feels more intentional.

Packaging is kept simple and eco-friendly, designed to protect your jewellery while minimising unnecessary materials. Every order is prepared with care, whether it’s a piece chosen for yourself or a gift for someone else.

The designs are inspired by organic shapes, subtle textures, and the quiet details often found in nature. The aim is to create jewellery that feels easy to wear every day - pieces that become part of your routine and hold meaning over time.

MUKA Jewellery isn’t about fast trends or mass production. It’s about creating pieces you can connect with - jewellery that is thoughtfully made, responsibly sourced, and designed to be worn and loved for years to come.
